The brief

This notice is intended to communicate that NHS Mid and South Essex ICB (herein referred to as the 'Authority') intends to award a contract to an existing provider, under the Provider Selection Regime DAP C process, to provide for continuity of service and safety of service users.

The Depression & Wellbeing Calls support services users in Mid and South Essex as part of the mental health intervention services to ensure the continued, effective and safe service provision for vulnerable patient population.

The existing provider is satisfying the original contract and will likely satisfy the proposed contract to a sufficient standard.

The proposed contracting arrangements are not changing considerably and this short term contract is proposed to ensure continued and safe service provision whilst the Authority undertakes a competitive procurement approach for a new service, that will supersede the existing contract arrangements.

The short term contract is for a 6 month term from 1st April 2025 to 30th September 2025.
