Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Framework

Gentoo Group Ltd have approximately 5,600 Solar PV installations across its stock of 28,000 properties (please note that 2,926 of these are owned by Peterborough Council therefore, will not form scope of this Contract).

These installations are all confined to the areas of Sunderland, Houghton, Hetton and Washington - Tyne and Wear.

In addition to domestic installations, Gentoo Group also has three commercially installed Solar PV Systems, located at Emperor House and Akeler House - Doxford Park, Sunderland and at the Skyline Centre - Houghton-le-Spring.

The purpose of this Tender is to procure a sole Provider to provide varying maintenance, cleaning, and protection systems to those installations for the next four years.

This Contract is made up of five key elements.

Part 1 - Maintenance Services to Solar PV Systems; and Part 2 - Cyclical Cleaning Services to Solar PV Systems.

Part 3 - Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) Inspections Part 4 - Mechanical Inspections Part 5 - Solar Thermal Panel Replacement (to PV Panels) (should instances arise).

Please note that the appointed sole Provider must be able to undertake all five elements listed above.
