1260 – DEVON & CORNWALL POLICE – HARD DISK DRIVE (HDD) AND MOBILE PHONE SHREDDER PURCHASE THIS NOTICE IS FOR PRIOR INFORMATION ONLY FOR THE PURPOSES OF IDENTIFYING SUPPLIERS TO TAKE PART IN EARLY MARKET ENGAGEMENT AND IS NOT A CALL FOR COMPETITION.

Devon & Cornwall Police are considering potential options for purchasing a shredder for shredding of their IT equipment to include mobile phones and HDDs.

These are items which hold data and cannot be wiped or resold.

Therefore, SWPPS are undertaking early market engagement in order to understand potential suppliers in the market and options for the purchasing of shredders including any support and maintenance packages, training and any other services associated with the purchasing of a shredder.

The shredder will need to be able to shred to the size of 6mm as per the NPSA standard SWPPS wish to invite potential suppliers who may be interested in assisting with this early market engagement to answer a number of questions and then, an opportunity to meet with SWPPS (via Teams) to discuss their responses.

The purpose of this Market Engagement Notice is for early engagement with the market prior to undertaking any formal tender process.
