The brief

ISL have been providing this service since April 2022 when funding was made available from the ICB for Crisis Bed provision within the West Cheshire Footprint.

The service will provide a Step down and/or admissions avoidance in the form of accommodation-based crisis intervention.

The provision will be situated in self-contained facilities including bedroom/en-suite.

It provides support and overnight accommodation as a planned, safe and sustainable discharge and/or accommodation-based crisis support as an alternative to inpatient services.

The service provides meals for those requiring them, bedding, toiletries and emergency clothing.

The service can/will store and administer prescribed medications for those who are at risk of non-compliance or overdose.

All sites have full CCTV and fob door entry systems for security, only those assessed as appropriate will be able to access the site 01/04/2025 to 31/03/2026 £773,815
