The brief

CPI has several plant and lab facilities comprising multiple Technology Centres that require the use of metrology equipment to enable delivery of its multiple analytical and process requirements.

Our facilities are situated in Sedgefield, Darlington, Glasgow and Wilton.

The scope of the framework primarily encompasses the calibration and ongoing maintenance of all pipettes, including associated components and accessories.

It is also expected to cover the procurement of new pipettes as required to support these activities.

CPIs current inventory of pipettes is listed in Appendix 1 of this document pack.

This list is comprehensive and though accurate at the time of publishing of this document the inventory is expected to fluctuate over the course of the tender.

CPI will retire equipment as well as onboard new units as required over the course of the tender- and will endeavour to provide accurate inventory lists prior to any onsite visits and calibrations.

CPI expects the successful bidder to provide primarily onsite calibration and services, with the flexibility to carry out offsite calibrations and repairs when deemed most efficient and practical for both parties.
