The overarching aim of the research with the public is to maintain and build on public voice in the evidence that informs GDC activity, the objectives of the research are for the public research are: - To understand the factors that affect public safety and confidence in the dental industry; - To understand the factors that affect the public’s choices about their dental health (frequency and type of use); - To understand the factors that affect the public’s access to services that they need; - To explore the public’s confidence in the sector, including regulation - To, where possible and useful, continue to measure change over time, comparing with our three previous research sweeps with the public; - To inform the GDC’s new corporate strategy.
