The brief

WRAP Cymru is working with Welsh Government to undertake modelling activities to support the decision-making process on future reuse, recycling and composting targets beyond those currently in place.

WG are interested in making further progress towards a Circular Economy and the specific goals of ‘zero waste by 2050’ and ‘net zero by 2050’ and set targets for 2030 and 2035.

The scope of the wider project includes modelling of all waste streams collected by local authorities in Wales.

The objective of this work is to build a model of LA collected trade waste in Wales under the Workplace regs.
