As part of our duties as the Waste Disposal Authority we must provide compliant facilities for the acceptance of Food Waste for treatment from the Waste Collection Authorities.
This is part of Local Governments plans to remove bio-degradable waste from Landfill, and part of compulsory food waste collections that must be undertaken by Waste Collection Authorities from 1st April 2026.
