The Mill Dale and Crescent Dale buildings are currently being remodelled and refurbished as part of a major capital investment programme.
The works aim to transform the existing overnight dementia respite care accommodation into day care facilities designed for adult service users with profound and multiple learning disabilities (PLMD), autism, and complex behavioural needs.
Once completed, the upgraded buildings will offer approximately 40 places for adult service users.
Each building features two dedicated wings, equipped with a range of facilities tailored to meet the needs of the end users, these facilities include the following: • Large Activity Rooms • Small Activity Rooms • Immersive Rooms • Sensory Bathrooms • Garden Courtyards and Shared Garden Area There will also be Staff and welfare facilities, dining and kitchen areas, as well as general amenities for the services users, such as toilets and hygiene rooms.
