The requirements of this contract is to support the delivery of high-quality health and care services and integrated pathways, providing seamless care to improve health and wellbeing outcomes enabling people to live independently for as long as possible at home.
The service commissioners recognises that we live in a digital age, and there are increasing expectations around the use of technology and connectivity.
We also understand that in future, technology and connectivity will be far more intrinsically embedded into people's lives, and that we need to build the foundations to provide a different type of offer in Adult Services and Health (ASH) as well as the wider health and care ecosystem to respond to this.
It is anticipated that the Provider will work in partnership with the Commissioners to deliver a modernised and innovative service to a wide range of service users across the Liverpool City Council Area.
The Provider will deliver the supply, installation, recovery and recycling, emergency and routine maintenance of equipment, monitoring and both physical and telephone response for Telecare.
Whilst working with the Service Commissioners to move to new digital technologies.
The Commissioners are working towards a Technology Enabled Care Service, introducing new processes and technologies to change the operating model, introducing a technology first approach.
The Provider will work in partnership with the Service Commissioners to ensure the new service is embedded in to practice and supports a technology first approach.
