The brief

The Council wishes to invite further competition responses for the supply of services in respect of Site Security Services at various sites across a large district in the South of Leicestershire for Blaby District Council.

The Security Services Contract will provide the Council with the opportunity to consolidate its operations throughout the district.

The aims/objectives/service priorities of this contract are: The specific requirements for the provision include Mobile Security Patrols, Locking/Unlocking & Key-holding at the various council sites as listed below: • Blaby district council offices, Narborough (Site 1) • Blaby district council vehicle Depot (Site 2) • Public Conveniences, Johns Court, Blaby (Site 3) • Bouskell Park, Welford Road, Blaby (Site 4) • Fosse Meadows, Sharnford - (Green Circle Transfer / Condition) (Site 5) • Jubilee Park, St Johns, Enderby - (Parish Transfer / Condition) (Site 6) This further competition has been issued to all eligible suppliers in Sub-Lot 1A - Site Security (East Midlands) of the ESPO Security Services Framework Reference Number 347_22.

The estimated budget for for this contract is £42,000 excluding VAT per annum.

The anticipated contract start date is 1st December 2025.

The council proposes to enter into a contract for an initial period of 48 months, with the option to extend for a further 12 months subject to satisfactory performance.
