Leeds City Council is seeking a suitably experienced and qualified contractor to undertake weed spraying and control services to footways and hard surfaced areas used for foot traffic within the Leeds City Council administrative boundary.
Works will be on behalf of two distinctive service areas – 1) publicly maintainable highways and surfaces street features managed by the council’s Highway Network Management team and 2) various types of footpaths, ginnels, drying areas and hard areas within communal spaces around housing estates, community precincts and sheltered housing complexes managed by Housing Leeds and local Tenant Management Organisations (TMOs), or their successors, who are responsible for management of council housing stock.
