The brief

The Museum requires a specialist contractor to clean and reline the water tanks to mitigate against debris/ rust/ scale build up in the tanks, reduce legionella risk and reduce risk of leaks and impact on Museum operations.

The specialist contractor is also required to replace the existing aged pipework with new mild steel pipework that mitigates against scale build up in pipework.

These works should also improve flow/efficiency of the cold water services distribution system and avoid water leaks via increased robustness of pipework materials and fittings.

An NDA will also be required to be completed before access to the tender documents can be granted.

The Museum anticipates this tender will go live in early July.
