The brief

Sheffield City Council will be tendering for a range of supported accommodation services that support people who are experiencing homelessness or at risk of being homeless.

One service will be commissioned for families and five services for single people.

The commissions are intended to maintain service continuity while enabling service transformation, ensure better targeting of support to those most likely to benefit, and strengthen outcomes such as sustainable move-on and reduced repeat homelessness.

The proposals have been approved by Sheffield City Council Housing Policy Committee, and the reports are available here: https://democracy.sheffield.gov.uk/documents/s85693/Form%202%20-%20Commissioning%20of%20supported%20housing%20for%20families.pdf https://democracy.sheffield.gov.uk/documents/s85696/Form%202%20-%20Commissioning%20of%20supported%20housing%20for%20single%20people.pdf An online pre market engagement event has been organised via Microsoft teams, where we will set out our requirements in more detail, and you can register for this event by sending your name, organisation, and the email address of those who you would like to attend this event via the Mercell / EU Supply portal messaging function.
