The South-West Police Procurement Service ("SWPPS") is currently undertaking preliminary market engagement and considering route to market options for a future procurement process for the supply of wearable, hands-free safety lights for operational officers across Devon and Cornwall, Avon and Somerset, Dorset, Wiltshire, and Gloucestershire police forces.
The potential requirement is anticipated to consist of the purchase of up to 8,000 devices, although no commitment is made at this stage.
We are seeking engagement from established suppliers of wearable safety lights that are suitable for law enforcement and emergency service applications.
Responses from all interested suppliers are welcomed.
The purpose of the preliminary market engagement with the market, prior to undertaking any future procurement process, is to seek input from the market to inform our requirements, help develop our specification, understand the products and solutions available, and identify the most appropriate route to market.
