The brief

Active Together are seeking to commission an evaluation and learning partner to work as part of the Sport England funded Place Expansion work in Leicester for an 18 month contract.

Leicester has been identified as an area for Sport England Place Based investment and has been awarded funding to support Place Based working from September 2026 to March 2028.

Evaluation and learning are a key part of the work and are embedded throughout the programme.

The appointed partner: • will support the upskilling of the team, partner organisations and the public in becoming comfortable with and embedding learning and evaluation • carrying out formal qualitative evaluation such as ripple effect mapping and social network analysis in partnership with the team • leading the submission of formal evaluation and learning requirements to Sport England and the National Evaluation and Learning Partner (NELP) More Information on Active Together: https://www.active-together.org/about
