Thanet District Council wishes to procure and appoint a suitable specialist supplier for the design, build and installation of new bus shelters for the Thanet Bus Shelter Replacement Project and invites prospective bidders to submit a Tender to meet the Employer’s Requirements.
The Scope of Works includes (but is not limited to) – to undertake site surveys and design new modular bus shelters (DDA compliant in nature and layout), manufacture, secure highway permits and associated permissions, install, make electrical connections (where necessary), reinstate footways and commission the new bus shelters across (approximately) 90 locations within the administrative boundary of Thanet District Council.
The Contract is anticipated to commence during January 2027 (start date to be agreed between parties on completion of contract formalities) for a duration of 20 weeks.
