The brief

The Home Office requires an independent Supplier to design and deliver a comprehensive training course to three groups within the OWHR pilot areas.

The groups are the independent chairs, the relevant review partners (consisting of the Police, Local Authorities and Clinical Commissioning Groups in England/Local Heath Boards in Wales) and members of the OWHR Oversight Board.

The pilot areas will be in areas of London, the West Midlands and Wales.

For the pilot, it is estimated training will be required for approximately 40 review partners, 30 independent chairs and up to 10 OWHR oversight board members.

The Supplier will need to be confident that individuals have fully engaged with the course and met a standard or at least are competent in their understanding and application of the course content and able to discharge their role effectively within the OWHR process through a test on completion of the course.

In terms of delivery method then given the spread in the location of participants then virtual training is preferable, but this is something that can be agreed with the Supplier once the contract begins.
