The works are to increase the containerised standing out areas by approximately 1.5Ha to free up space within the glasshouse and facilitate increased cell grown plant production based on current operations.
The extension to standing out provision will employ a free standing roller rail and container configuration to ensure compatibility with the existing infrastructure.

New concrete aprons will form walkways to facilitate safe access.

The current system employs pivot sprinklers which while effective, is target limited and results in high water use.
The provision of boom irrigation is to be investigated as a preferred water conservation strategy.
