Worcester City Council is seeking a play provider to design, install and construct a 'Play on the Way' scheme just off Cotswold Way, Worcester.
This is part of a wider 'Worcester City Play Plan' which has been implemented by the city council.
The existing open space area is adjacent to residential housing and leading to Cranham Primary school.
There would be 7 play stations which would be located close to an existing footpath on site to create a 'Play on the Way' concept.
This project is for the delivery of stations 1-6 inclusive and station 7 would be a future separate phase 2 project for a pump track or similar youth provision (yet to be approved by Committee).
The adventure trail would be a mix of natural play timber and steel equipment and would cater for toddlers, juniors, and early teens.
