The brief

REGISTRATION HAS NOW CLOSED.

Sheffield City Council would like to invite Service Providers to attend an event to input into a review of young people's services on Friday 14th September 2018 at Sheffield Town Hall, Pinstone Street, Sheffield, S1 2HH.

Please register via the link below on this page.

We are repeating the session in the morning and the afternoon on Friday 14th September - you only need to attend one.

You can choose whether you would like to attend the morning or afternoon when you register.

Morning session: 9am-12noon Afternoon session: 1pm-4pm Sheffield City Council is conducting a review looking at how services for vulnerable young people could be delivered, and be better joined up, in the future.

In particular, the review is exploring ways stop young people who have multiple needs being 'bounced around' different services, seeing different workers, and having to retell their story over and over again.

We are also interested to look at how services delivered across the public sector could form part of any new service model.

The event is expected to be of particular interest to Providers with experience of working with vulnerable young people, including those providing services including, but not limited to, the following areas: • Targeted Youth work; • Alcohol and drug treatment and support; • Domestic abuse services; • Homelessness and housing support for young people; • Health and mental health; • Crime prevention and youth justice support; • Care leavers support.

The event will offer an opportunity to find out about the Council's vision, and hear about the process for undertaking and implementing the review of existing services.

We are interested to hear your view on how the needs of vulnerable young people are changing, where gaps in provision could be improved by a more integrated approach, and how good practice can be shared and developed.
