This Procurement is for a new Tier 2 Community Dermatology Service in Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre.

The main outcomes of the Service will be: • Equitable access and treatment of dermatology patients presenting with dermatological problems within different levels of deprivation. • Increased overall patient's satisfaction with Dermatology Services. • Provider services closer to patients' home. • Improved communication between community, secondary and primary care services provider, specialist clinicians and Primary care. • Improved quality of care within primary and community settings regardless of provider. • Increased patient choice. • Improved access to advice and information, increased knowledge and awareness of the management of dermatology for patients. • Reduced waiting time for patient's access to specialist care in the community. • Improve access to advice and information with increased knowledge and awareness of the self-management of their condition.

The contract duration will be for 3 years, which is intended to run from 1st of November 2018 until 31st October 2021 with the possibility of one extension of up to 2 years (31st October 2023).

The anticipated, maximum total contract value (including any potential extensions) is £3,605,441 with an annual value estimated at £ 721,088.
