Provision of L3 Certificate in emergency response ambulance driving ( LS CERAD) - AWARD
This is a contract result notice, not an open opportunity. Details from the official award data.
The University of Cumbria has been actively developing students to HCPC registration as Paramedics for a number of years.
We are successfully growing the existing pre-hospital medicine academic offering and have long term contracts in place with NHS ambulance services, and all branches of the military.
We are currently developing a cohort of twenty (20) Military Medical Technicians, who will qualify as Paramedics in October 2019.
Subsequently they will require a driving qualification which will afford them the opportunity to work in an NHS Ambulance environment.
The contract will also cover future cohorts requiring training within the contract period.
Therefore, we seek to procure the services of a training organisation who can provide L3 Certificate in Emergency Response Ambulance Driving as set out in the Future Quals (accrediting body) standards, or equivalent and recognised by HCPC.
