NHS Gloucestershire Clinical Commissioning Group is seeking expressions of interest from suitable organisations that would like to be considered to take on the contract to provide Primary Medical Services to the patients that are registered with the Springbank Surgery, Cheltenham (1,703 patients (actual) as at 1 December 2014).
The agreement to be entered into by the CCG and the successful Bidder will be based on the APMS (Alternative Provider Medical Services) Contract.
The contract will be awarded on the basis of: overall cost effectiveness, the ability to provide a quality service as per the service specification, demonstrable clinical governance systems and the ability to provide a local service that meets the needs of the local population.
NHS Gloucestershire CCG intends to award a new contract for an initial period of 5 years with options to extend for 3 further periods, each of 1 year duration.
