When this comes round again

Broadacres Housing Association has published 134 notices across all categories, and 25% of its awards go to a supplier it has used before.

Which is the argument for getting on the list rather than winning this one. The incumbent is rarely the last winner — it is the roster. See the retention odds by category →

The brief

Broadacres wishes to appoint a single company to deliver the tree survey programme across its whole estate.

The intention is to enter into the Contract for a period of two (2) years with an option to extend for a further one (1) year up to a maximum duration of three (3) years.

The scope of services is to undertake a full Tree Safety and Condition Survey Programme across all Broadacres sites.

This shall include a comprehensive visual inspection of each tree, the application of the THREATS risk‑rating methodology, a structured subsidence‑risk assessment for trees located near buildings, hard surfaces or drainage systems, and the capture of accurate GIS mapping data for every surveyed tree.

All outputs shall be provided through document‑based reporting, comprising PDF reports, Excel datasets and GIS layers.

The full specification is provided in Document 3 attached to this notice.
