The brief

Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes Fire Authority (BMKFA) on behalf of Buckingham Fire and Rescue Service (BFRS) are seeking to appoint a contractor to undertake the Design & Build, including fabrication, installation and commissioning of a new USAR Training Rig at Aylesbury Fire Station, Stocklake, Aylesbury, Bucks HP20 1BD together with the dismantling, removal and storage of the existing training tower, with the possibility of the existing rig being relocated elsewhere within the County of Buckinghamshire at a future date.

This includes all groundworks, foundations, drainage, electrical and lightning protection installations.

The contractor shall also be responsible for all transportation of materials and equipment to site and the removal of all materials from site.

The new USAR Training Rig and Drill Tower will need to be installed and fully operational by the 31 March 2022.

Please note that the indicative value of the contract is in the range of £120,00 to £140,000 Site visits are required between the dates of 22 June 2021 to 02 July 2021, and can be arranged by appointment only.
