North East Lincolnshire council have commissioned the delivery of Pharmacy Advice, Contraception and Testing (ACT) within the borough under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023 - Direct Award Process B.
The contract enables pharmacies to provide testing, advice and contraception with the aim to improve sexual health outcomes in young people between the age of 15 -24 years old.
The contract will give North East Lincolnshire residents access to Pregnancy Testing, Chlamydia Testing (home testing kits) , Information, Advice and Guidance , Condoms , C-card scheme 6 Pharmacies have been awarded an individual contract to deliver the Pharmacy ACT service .
The service will be contracted for a period of 36 months from 1st Oct 2025 to 30th September 2028.
The contract value is approximately £18,000 over the 36month period.
It is not possible to accurately state the exact value as the Pharmacy services are demand led.
