This is a contract result notice, not an open opportunity. Details from the official award data.
This sits below the typical range for Engineering & Architecture contracts — a smaller, more accessible award. Based on 33,646 valued Engineering & Architecture tenders in our corpus.
Saw Close lies to the north of the Seven Dials junction and links Queen Square (via Barton Street) to Kingsmead Square in the City of Bath.
Saw Close is currently used as a busy pedestrian thoroughfare for pedestrians and traffic and is the main drop off point for visitors to the Bath Theatre Royal.
Redevelopment work within Saw Close is about to commence with the construction of a New Casino, Hotel and Restaurant facilities to the East side of Saw Close.
This redevelopment work will be delivered by a Private Developer who will also construct enhanced public realm areas within the curtilage of the development site but not to the entire area.
B&NES will deliver the remaining public realm shared space element to complete the public square and provide a fully comprehensive and integrated scheme.
Bath & North East Somerset Council is looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to provide cost and procurement services to assist the Council and the Project team to successfully deliver the Public realm works to Saw Close.
