The aim of the service is to provide the following immunisation programme for school aged population: Human Papillomavirus (HPV) Programme Teenage Booster (Td/IPV) Immunisation Programme Meningitis C Immunisation Programme which is due to be replaced by the Meningococcal ACWY conjugate (MenACWY) vaccination programme from September 2015 onwards There is the possibility of additional service expansion to the contract for MenACWY, current year 10 catch-up cohort (academic year 2015/16 year 11s): However, this addition is not guaranteed.
It is envisaged that the tender documentation for this service will be issued by the end of July, or early August 2015.
Due to the urgent need for this service it is expected that the tender documents will only be able to be accessed by potential bidders for a maximum of 7 days.
The North of England Commissioning Support Service (NECS) is a commissioning support service hosted by NHS England and will run this tender process for and on behalf of NHS England, Cumbria and the North East, the contracting authority.
NECS will be utilising an electronic tendering tool to manage this procurement.
