The sexual health promotion service will be expected to engage with all the groups at increased vulnerability to the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) and the other sexually transmitted infections (STIs) by providing advice, counselling, information and the opportunity to access prompt HIV and STI testing, repeat testing and referrals for treatment and care.
Under this procurement, the contractor will be required to actively participate and support the achievement of social benefits to the Sandwell community providing value for money on a whole life basis in terms of generating benefits to society and the economy whilst minimising the impact to the environment of Sandwell (Public Services (Social Value) Act 2012).
Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council wish to appoint a sole provider with a contract duration of 2 years (1 April 2016 to 31 March 2018).
The maximum budget available for this is £100,000 pa (excluding VAT).
