The brief

Blackpool Council is seeking an experienced and capable service provider to deliver a short breaks service for children and young people in Blackpool as follows: • Weekend Club - for children with complex needs (8 - 18 years old, or 19 while still attending school) • Holiday Club - for children aged 8 to 18 with higher / complex levels of need The anticipated service volumes and contract budget for the service is as follows: Provision Number of sessions Capacity per session Weekend Club (complex needs) 52 18 Holiday Club (complex needs) 47 21 Contract budget (per annum) £204,184.44 It is anticipated that the contract term will be from 01 April 2026 to 31 March 2028, with the option to extend incrementally for a period of up to 2 years (subject to contract review and budget availability).
