The boroughs of the SLWP work together in order to provide improved and more cost-effective waste management services to their residents.
The SLWP Transformation Programme is working towards the production of a Joint Waste Strategy and the aim of that strategy is to: reduce our carbon footprint, reduce waste and maximise recycling, and utilise the partnership's combined assets and scale to develop optimised, cost effective, waste management solutions.\r Kingston Council, acting on behalf of the four SLWP boroughs, is inviting suitably qualified and experienced consultants to submit quotes to undertake an assessment of the five Authority owned Sites in order to understand how we can optimise the configuration of our assets, maximise on our in-house bulking capacity, ensure security of future capacity, and improve on the services we can provide our residents.\r The contract term will be for a period of 15 weeks - with no scope for extension.\r All documents are available from the London Tenders Portal https://www.londontenders.org/
