Nottingham City Council is to undertake a soft market testing exercise to canvass external providers of fuel tanks to replace an existing underground fuel tank that is approaching the end of its expected life.
The existing fuel tanks are located underneath a fuel island - an above-ground tank is preferred therefore decommission of the existing tank will be required.
Existing terminals and pumps will remain in use but may need to be relocated depending on pipework and space requirements.
