The brief

• SCDC is looking for a suitably experienced company to provide litter picking services to the Council throughout SCDC's district. • The initial schedule of work must be started by the 03/02/2020 and is in a contract range of (£65to £70k per annum) and shall include: o A14 Fenstanton (junction 27) to Stow-cum-Quy both sides = 4km (reduced due to new road construction works) o A1303 From Marshalls to Bottisham both sides = 13km o A1198 Royston roundabout to Papworth Everard both sides = 47.25km o A11 6 mile Bottom to Stumps Cross both sides = 34.5 km o A428 Caxton to A14/M11 junction both sides = 34.5km o A1307 / A11 to Hinton Way roundabout both sides = 12 km o A1307 / A11 (Little Abington) to Haverhill roundabout both sides 30km o A10 Amey roundabout to Milton roundabout both sides = 14.5 km o A10 Royston roundabout to M11 (Harston) roundabout both sides 36.5km o A505 Royston roundabout to A11 junction both sides 30 km o Please note that in all cases above this must include litter-picking from each slip road up to junctions and all lay by areas with each road. • The contract is for 3 year term with the option to extend each and every year for a further 2 years.
