On behalf of the National Manufacturing Institute of Scotland (NMIS), The University sought to acquire an Automated Fibre Placement System from a single suitably qualified supplier.
NMIS required the system for the placement of composite prepreg tows in an automated process in order to efficiently and accurately manufacture fibre composite parts.
