The Trust are seeking a single supplier who will provide a Supported Transport Service.Birmingham Children’s Trust intend to commission to one provider to deliver a Supported Transport Service for Looked After Children and Young People up to the age of 18 years old, who need to be transported in a safe and secure manner to their new placement address both within Birmingham and nationally.

The requirement for this service is that all children and young people that require Supported Transport arrive at their destination safely and securely within Birmingham and sometimes throughout the country, including Scotland and Wales.

All children and young people should be afforded care and understanding of their individual needs by appropriately trained staff and treated with respect.

The name for this service will be ‘Supported Transport’.
