This project builds on a previously commissioned piece of work required by the Joint Air Quality Unit (JAQU) in 2023, which investigated the human factors influencing the performance of Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) retrofit technology in reducing emissions of nitrogen oxides (NOx; the collective term for NO and NO2) from buses.
This work was carried out by Varian (previously Kantar Public) on behalf of JAQU - results of which were embedded into the overall Bus Retrofit report produced in 2023.
