There will be a focus on working with existing educational establishments that are supporting young people and local businesses.

The service will shape its programme of activity so as to directly support business, schools and potential apprentices to actively engage in apprenticeship programmes and support them to understand the benefits of doing so.

As part of this, the service will operate across sectors vital to the further growth of the Greater Cambridge economy and demonstrate the benefits apprenticeships offer in supporting access to work, training and social mobility therefore demonstrating what an important role apprenticeships play in supporting continued economic growth.
