The purpose of this framework is to provide NRW All Wales Forestry Operations teams with the resource to manage the restocking programme of works predominantly within the Welsh Government Woodland Estate (WGWE).

This framework could also be used for NRW funded projects if appropriate.

Tree planting is required by NRW to; restock those areas that have been harvested; to plant trees on woodland creation sites and to replace losses from previous tree planting operations.

The trees will be both conifers and broadleaves and supplied as either bare-root stock, or containerised.
