The brief

Job Title: Vehicle Technician Rate of Pay: ?18.06 per hour Hours: 37 Location: Fleet Services, Waterfall Lane, Cradley Heath, B64 6RL.

Brief description: Fleet Services are Sandwell MBC's in-house fleet maintenance operation.

Based at Waterfall Lane in Cradley Heath, Fleet Services provides fleet maintenance and repair for Sandwell MBC, other public bodies, and private sector contracts.

With a fleet size of over 1000 items, there is a huge variety of vehicles and equipment.

Key Requirements o Full UK HGV (Category C or C+E). o Hold a BTEC National Certificate in Automotive Engineering (ONC) or equivalent. o Take part in an out-of-hours breakdown service. o Level 3 NVQ Automotive Maintenance and Repair or equivalent experience working in a heavy commercial vehicle workshop. o LGV License: Unrestricted Category C. o F gas license. o Forklift operator's license. o Tail lift LOLER certification. o Level 3 Award in Electric/Hybrid Vehicle System Repair and Replacement.

Stated rates must be inclusive of all known costs.

No DBS is required for this role.
