Suffolk County Council is appointing a provider to operate and manage its own Waste Transfer Station in the Haverhill area of Suffolk for the receipt of residual waste, recyclable and organic wastes, primarily collected by West Suffolk Council.
The provider will also be required to provide the haulage of residual waste to the Suffolk Energy from Waste facility, plus recyclable waste to the Materials Recovery Facility at Great Blakenham, and may also be required to provide haulage of other waste materials from the transfer station.
