The brief

Via a mini competition using the RM3804 Technology Services 2 framework, the Council is seeking to purchase the appropriate services to enable the lifecycle delivery of its Data Centre infrastructure.

The current services are provided by an in-house team, and this will remain the case, but there will be a requirement to buy-in certain services.

The appointed supplier will also be expected to utilise the RM3733 Technology Products framework on behalf of Warwick District Council.

Warwick District Council intends to re-let its ICT Data Centre support and maintenance contract as it is due to terminate on 31st March 2019.

In so doing the Council wishes to ensure the new supplier can provide a high quality support and maintenance service as per this specification and SLA.

This capability will be procured under the Technology Services 2 RM3804 Lot 3- Operational Service End User Services Framework.

This is the only guaranteed service under this framework and is the only service for which there is an allocated budget.

For clarity, the Council does not wish to procure a managed service.

Duration of the Contract: The contract will be for a period of 3 years commencing 1 April 2019, with an option to extend in 12 month increments up to 2024.

Value of contract: The Contract Value is approximately £49,000 per 12 month period.
