Surrey County Council (SCC) has committed to be a net-zero council by 2030 and has a programme to rapidly and consistently decrease gas and electricity consumption in the buildings the Council owns and operates (Scope 1 and 2). The Council has applied for funding from Public Sector Decarbonisation Fund (PSDS) to deliver decarbonisation projects in a number of buildings, and intends to make further funding applications as they become available. \n For a funding application, SCC require surveys and investment grade proposals for each site and have been successful in gaining grant funding via the Low Carbon Skills Fund (LCSF).
