Find a Tender, explained and counted
Find a Tender is the UK government’s central digital platform for public procurement: since 24 February 2025, every UK contracting authority publishes its procurement notices there, and suppliers search, register and share their details there. It is free to use. In August 2026, 9,446 notices were published on it — and 17% of them still under the old regulations.

01/ Two regimes
One platform, two sets of rules
Notices published on Find a Tender each month, by the law they were published under. A procurement that started before 24 February 2025 keeps publishing under the old rules until it ends — so in August 2026, 1,567 of 9,446 notices were still old-style.
Releases published on Find a Tender, January 2025 to the last complete month, each assigned the regime of the procurement it belongs to — read from the notice’s legal basis and UK notice type, never from its date. Counted by notice, not by procurement.

How this page is made
Live figures
Counts are releases — individual published notices — on Find a Tender, from RFP Quest's release table, which keeps every release of every notice rather than only the latest. A procurement with a tender notice, an award notice and a contract details notice counts three times.
A notice counts as published under the Procurement Act 2023 when it carries a UK notice type (UK1 to UK17) or belongs to a procurement whose legal basis is the Act. Some Procurement Act releases are filed under a generic tag (tender, planning, award) with the UK type only inside the notice's documents, so the type is resolved from the notice itself. The publication date does not separate the regimes, because older procurements run on. 51 releases since January 2025 could not be assigned a regime and are left out of both series.
The chart and the last-12-months figures stop at the last complete month. The latest tender notices are the six most recent UK4 releases. Figures are cached for up to six hours.
