The East Sussex County Council, Transport and Environment department require quotations for Coarse Visual Inspection (CVI) U Roads SURVEY REQUIREMENTS ESCC Network We have an electronic network for the surveys, which is held on Yottas Horizons.

Coarse Visual Inspection, Detailed Visual Inspection and Footway Management Survey Visual surveys must be carried out in accordance with Visual Data Collection for UKPMS, Volume 2 of the UKPMS User Manual.

All inspectors carrying out visual surveys and all Data Capture Device (DCD) software used to collect the data must be accredited in accordance with the current UKPMS accreditation procedures.

Data to be in HMDif, for direct input into Yotta Horizons visual mapping software application The surveys are to include independent third party audit of data.

CVI survey- the additional recording of Not Defective for all features and cross section positions that exist for lengths that have been inspected and are free from reportable defects, to facilitate Condition Projection work, including independent third party audit of data.
