Allotments Management Software Package 2015-2020 (Re-tendered)
This sits below the typical range for Environment & Waste contracts — a smaller, more accessible award. Based on 11,894 valued Environment & Waste tenders in our corpus.
Wirral Council's Parks and Countryside Team are seeking to replace their existing Allotments management software and standalone data sources with a more modern solution.
The aims of this project are to increase back office efficiency, provide better management of Allotment sites and waiting lists and improve relations between Wirral Council and the Allotments Community.
The scope of the project covers all allotment sites owned or managed by Wirral Council, which currently numbers approximately 40 sites, with around 2000 plots.
The Council uses a Data Ease system to manage Allotments, and seeks to replace this with a modern alternative which is fully compatible with the Council's current software capabilities.
The contract will therefore be for the supply of software and licence for its use, data migration, implementation services, staff training and five years' support and maintenance.
The Council is seeking a site licence that will enable access to the system for a wide range of internal staff, and ultimately members of the Allotment Community.
The licence should allow the Council to operate a production, test and training version of the system.
Wirral Borough Council will only consider awarding the contract to suppliers who are able to grant the Council a perpetual licence for the use of the supplier's software.
Any data is to remain the Property of Wirral Borough Council.
The licence should also allow the council to utilise the system for mobile devices.
Please note that the Council is not obliged to accept any quote.
