The brief

NHS Corby CCGs are seeking to engage with providers and gauge market interest in the potential for • the procurement of the current Urgent Care Centre service for minor injuries and illness • and to provide the extended access contract for NHS Corby CCG practices as per NHS England requirements as part of the new models of care to be procured by way of two separate lots.

The specification will describe the Commissioners' requirement for the provision of services from 1st April 2019 - 31st March 2022) (the Contract "Term") from the existing Urgent Care Centre premises at the Willowbrook site, Cottingham Road, Corby, NN17 2UR.

The Urgent Care Service comprises the timely treatment of illness or injury in a primary care setting on an un-scheduled basis.

The services will assess patients working in partnership with the wider care system across ambulance, primary, community, secondary, mental health, social care and the voluntary sector.

The provider(s) will be required to deliver the service in a highly integrated and cohesive service model, thus reducing unnecessary hospital attendance or admissions and enabling optimal patient outcomes.

The Commissioner's would like to invite interested providers to express an interest in this service by emailing NELCSU.ProcurementNorthants@nhs.net by no later than 5.00pm on 27th September 2018.
