The brief

Hertfordshire County Council is tendering for Community Short Break Services to run Holiday Clubs across Hertfordshire for children and young people aged 5-19 years with disabilities who reside in Hertfordshire.

These services are required to be delivered throughout the day/week during the Hertfordshire school holidays.

Service Users and their families should be provided with School Holiday services providing full coverage throughout the school holiday.

The Provider is encouraged to build on commissioned provision by developing further services purchased directly by parents / carers such as wrap around childcare for working families, sibling activities etc. and these should be paid for at cost or subsidised through other funding / charitable grants / partnerships.

The Service provided should be for a minimum of 4 hours in duration (unless otherwise agreed with the Service Users and their families) and the length that the Service User attends for should be flexible around theirs and their family’s needs Please Note The TUPE Staffing Information for this procurement has been provided along with other documentation for this procurement.

TUPE related information must be treated as protected data in accordance with the requirements of the Data Protection Act 1998 and must be kept confidential.
