When this comes round again

The Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) publishes Other Community & Personal Services work continuously — 7 notices, roughly one every 40 days. This is a stream to watch, not a cycle to wait for.

47% of The Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS)’s awards go to a supplier it has used before.

Which is the argument for getting on the list rather than winning this one. The incumbent is rarely the last winner — it is the roster. See the retention odds by category →

The brief

The objective of this PIN is to invite suppliers to further 1:1 market engagement sessions in relation to the RIMNET Nuclear Monitor Network procurement.

The purpose of the sessions will be to learn from market expertise, finalise a deliverable specification and confirm the market’s capability to deliver the requirement.

BEIS requires suppliers to sign and return the attached NDA by COP Monday 14th February, so that background information (e.g. full specification, Q&As from the market engagement survey sent in November 2021, monitor user manuals, monitor data displays, API Bridge specification, breakdown of service components which will need costing) can be shared.

We would also like to advise suppliers that all sessions will be recorded to enable us to address supplier questions and finalise the specification.
