The brief

Border Force (BF) is a Directorate of the Home Office.

BF operate a fleet of five (5) Cutters.

One of these Cutters, HMC Vigilant, has a requirement for some Maintenance and recertification of safety equipment.

The full package of works required is detailed in the attached Statement of requirements.

This contract will commence on 1st May 2019 and the work package is required to be undertaken between 01 - 24 May 2019 in line with the Cutters Operational working pattern and area, following this sourcing exercise based on written quotation.

The purpose of this notice is to make the Statement of Requirements available and to invite potential suppliers to confirm they can fully meet the requirements by providing a fully itemised written quotation for the work package.

Those potential suppliers are invited to send an email to Ian McDermott, Home office Commercial: Ian.Mcdermott@homeoffice.gov.uk, confirming their interest in this opportunity, providing the itemised quotation, confirmation of yard availability on the stated dates and also confirmation of agreement to the Home Office Standard short Form Services Terms and Conditions on which the contract will be awarded. (also attached for reference).

Quotations should also be accompanied by a CDP as stated in the SoR.

Emails should be submitted by 23:59 hrs on Monday 29th April 2019.

Vessel Drawings 4 Vessel Details NB: Statement of Requirements updated to include the addition questions and Annexes A-J: Docking and Vessel Docking.
